Friday night I performed via cel phone, with my collaborator Lori Dillon, at Spin the Bottles’ 60 seconds max.
Lori in Seattle about midnight, and me in Buffalo NY 3 times zones later – around 3am.
We had rehearsed what our 60 seconds performance would be, what we would talk about, and how we would engage the audience. I thought about how the audience might engage me while laying in bed next to someone who was sleeping soundly at the time – until I started to laugh.
So, when is a phone call a performance?
